Occassionally, up to the minute field changes or more detailed field availability information is available via the Palm Harbor Soccer line 727 772-0051.  Sometimes only one of three fields is open, or it may be that lights are not working on one, etc.

Overview


Palm Harbor Recreational Soccer is a series of instructional programs. Our goal is to improve your child's athletic ability while emphasizing good sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Organization


Palm Harbor Recreational Soccer programs are organized and managed through the Palm Harbor Recreation Soccer Board.

Programs


Rascals: Age 4-5
Instructional soccer programs for boys and girls age 4-6 yrs old. These are co-ed teams aimed at teaching soccer basics to boys and girls. Volunteer coaches provide instruction and direction during team play.

Kickers: Age 5-6
Instructional soccer programs for boys and girls age 4-6 yrs old. These are co-ed teams aimed at teaching soccer basics to boys and girls. Volunteer coaches provide instruction and direction during team play.

Under 8's: Age 6-8
Instructional soccer programs for boys and girls age 6-8 yrs old. These are co-ed teams aimed at teaching soccer basics to boys and girls. Volunteer coaches provide instruction and direction during practice and team play.

Under 10's: Age 8-10
Instructional soccer programs for boys and girls age 8-10 yrs old. This is the first age group where kids are separated by gender. The emphasis now is aimed at teaching soccer basics and improving individual skills to boys and girls. Volunteer coaches provide instruction and direction during practice, allowing the children to make their own decisions on game day.

Under 12's: Age 10-12
Instructional soccer programs for boys and girls age 10-12 yrs old. The emphasis now is aimed at taking the game to a higher level of play by improving individual skills and team play. This is the last age group to play in-house soccer before moving on to the GYSA division. Volunteer coaches provide instruction and direction during practice, allowing the children to make their own decisions on game day.
